Ana is a portuguese documentary photographer based in Berlin.

With a reportage style and a great sense of empathy, Ana uses her abilities as an observer, creative and storyteller to produce natural images that tell stories and highlight the most meaningful moments.

If you’d ask her why she is passionate about photography she’d probably respond:

“Photography helps me to be present. The small details, the light and shadow dance, the movement around me.... everything matters. These moments of observation and contemplation bring me ease and I feel connected with the place where I am, with myself, with life. I realize the interconnectedness of all beings and how magical this existence is. I would love for everyone to experience it, as I believe that could be the start of a paradigm shift in collective consciousness. My tool to contribute to that transformation is photography.”

She’s also an advocate for nature conservation and sees it as her mission to bring humans back to nature. Nature is her home, her medicine and her greatest source of inspiration. That is why she devotes her energy to projects on the intersection of ecology and art and to collaborations with regenerative projects such as Primal Gathering, Medicine Festival and environmental conservation organizations such as Ecosia.
